new bike

I've had my new motorbike for a couple of months now and it is sooo good I have done more miles on it in two months than the whole of last year on my old bike.

                           

First day i got it I was out!

Had a great day out getting used to it on the Perthshire Back Roads.

                               

Every time I get back home I want to turn around and keep going. It is great to ride. Power is there and confidence in the ABS and Traction Control makes you want to ride it all the time.

I keep planning mini adventures to go on. So hopefully I'll find the time to get out. If not I'll make it.

Glenshee Slide

Awesome day at Glenshee today. 
Snow cover was good. Sun was out. Had frozen overnight so it was a bit icy in the morning

Glass Maol Poma had not been open this season yet and I got the first lift up it about lunch time when they got it into operation after getting it ready for service. 

New skis were out to play as well. Scott Crusairs! Very very nice for the varied conditions. Caught up with a few friends and had a coffee or two on the hill. 

I finished the day with a sunset run down Glass Maol. Then back to the car. Via a meet up with more friends for tea and cake in their campervan in the carpark.

Nice few Tay sessions to end 2013. The snow never came to much so far so the river it is.

Lets hope for many more in 2014. 

I hope 2014 is all that you hope will be.

Friday I got out on my push bike for a wee 11miler 

This was not enough so I went Boating in the afternoon.

Early Season Mini Tour

Had a great day out today up at GlenShee. Three laps up Carn Aosta. 

No lifts running so we had to skin up.

Low wind and sunshine made for an excellent day on the hill.

Hard packed snow with some soft conditions on top.

First Turns of 2013/2014 Season. 

Happy smiles all round.
