Early to bed tonight. With this pesky bike shop in our store now there are more bike orientated challenges. Yeh lets all ride in tomorrow they say. Sure why not say. Damn. So ten miles to be done to get to work and ten miles to get home tomorrow after work. Better get to bed early. Checked my bike over tonight. It has been a long time since I rode ten miles in one hit with the added stress of getting to work on time. At least I'm not riding 27miles like one of the guys!
I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.

Another day off today and another day of rain! Didn't do much this morning but decided to go for a walk up Birnam Hill this afternoon. 5 or 6km I think. Chucked it down with rain but hey it's Scotland.

#175 meeting on the river

Management Meeting in Perth today. Managers from all 6 of our UK locations. As far away as London. Powerpoint presentations from the MD and general chat, more tomorrow so we all left at 6pm and went to the river. Great way to unwind after a day in a meeting room.

Four days off work, family and first aid course. But it was back to normality today and back to work. Nice busy Sunday and home tonight to new mag to read. Managers up this week to see the new shop but child free days on Thursday Friday. Mmmm what to do?

Happy Birthday Lexie! Had a family day party. I can't believe it the year has gone so fast. It was a very different first year to Liz. We just let Lex get on with it.
With great news of my best friend Craig's wife safely delivering their first early yesterday morning after 27hrs of Labour. A boy weighing in at 7lbs 5oz Lochlan Alexander Martin Wilson.
So there was reason to celebrate. Happy Birthdays all round!

Two days of a first aid course. All refreshed now. A few changes from the last time. Very well run and enjoyable course. It was only 5 miles down the road in Birnam too.

Half way through then. Longest day today and it's wet, really wet. Hardly looks like summer out there. However I did see the sunrise this morning thanks to my eldest daughter needing a wee at 4am. Thanks Liz.

After a day of stressful daddy day care what better than a 40mile dash in the evening sun around some perthshire A and B roads. Murthly, Bankfoot, Tullybelton, Little Glenshee, Harrietfield, Amulree, Dunkeld, Loch of the Lowes, Caputh, home. The new exhaust sounds great. Might be just me but bike feels as though it has more power.
Rode through my first ford at Little Glenshee and found a couple of tracks to ride up.

Every day is a challenge. Work deadline for next Monday and I'm off till Sunday! hope everyone at work will pull it together. I'm sure they will.
Was going to go out on my bike after the girls went to bed but one of my little angels had hidden my bike keys. By the time I found them I had gone off the idea. Ah well.
Not as challenging as this!

Dinner out with my boss today after work. Bit of a well done for the new shop and all that.
Forgot how much I enjoyed eating out before kids. Hope I can do it again soon. I seem to always tush down food or it's cold by the time I get to eat it. At work because we are so busy at home because you don't get peace. Looking forward to another chilled meal out again soon I hope. Balmoral Chicken was great. Picture just for effect. It was good but didn't look this good.....

Opening Day was a huge success. Loads of people in and more importantly lots of sales. Van and trailer full turned up last night and by 5pm tonight both were empty. Wow! What will tomorrow bring? Thanks to everyone who has helped and supported me.

10pm last night and I check my rota. I'm off tomorrow! So an unexpected day off today, nice weather and so day in the garden. Exciting my life, isn't it. Where have the days gone where at the drop of a hat I would go climbing, kayaking, biking or something else more adrenaline fuelled than playing with a soon to be one year old and soon to be three year old?

Afternoon relaxing down at the north inch with friends but the morning was set aside for 60 miles of playing. It included about 6 miles of off road in Pittmedden Forest. Crash bars didn't get any action thankfully but bike it a bit dirty.
