First 2014/2015 Ski

Went to head up a hill at Drumochter but the snow had had a fright since it warmed up overnight so we carried onlike sheep to Cairngorm. We parked at the Ciste Carpark and skinned up to the M2 and on to the Ptarmigan Redtaurant for tea and cakes.
We then put the skis back on and up to see Dad before heading down the back towards Loch A'an. Skins back on we headed back up the way we came and then cruised through the Ciste down the M2 and down the Annoch back to te car. Great first day out for the season even if it felt like spring with warm temps and soft wet snow.

Autumn Open Canoeing

Autumn is in my opinion the best time to go Open Canoeing. If the weather settles as it has for the last couple of days, you get flat calm lochs and amazing colours in the trees.

After a very busy couple of weeks I really needed to recharge my batteries. I was so grateful that I could. I didn't even have to travel that far. Loch Craiglush and Loch Freuchie are within 20miles of our house.

Drive to the Loch. Unload the Canoe. Paddle to spot with a view. Make a coffee, Enjoy!

Batteries recharged.

Oct SUP

A great afternoon out with Craig and Dani from Lime Snowsports School. We did 10km on the Union Canal near Ratho. Fantastic autumn colours. Still warm too. Only board shorts and a light jacket was needed for the 2hr trip.

Amazing ride last Wednesday. 160 miles for 5 hours.
Loch Earn, Kilmahog, Loch Venechar, Loch Katrine, Dukes Pass, Forest Drive, Aberfoyle, Calander, Lix Toll, Killin, South Loch Tay, Sma Glen, Dunkeld and home.

Fitness Paddle

Out on Loch Clunie today for a fitness paddle. Might use this place as a winter training ground.
Average 8km and hour. Need to work on that and lengthen the time out. Feeling good.

SUP

Got a bit of Stand Up Paddling done this week. Great way to chill out on a flat Loch.

A couple of kms in total but well worth it. I was on a Red Paddle Board 10'8" Mega. It deflates and rolls up into a bag the size of a golf bag. Great for travelling. I will be out again.

GoPro

Been put off GoPros in the past but thought as we sell them I should get on with it and try one out.

original shot

edited with instagram

Above are some of my efforts from today. Really easy to use and wifi to my iphone means setting up the shot on the helmet to make sure you are not filming sky is great.

I think I will be shooting some more with it.
