Craig and Dani's Wedding

After a long drive down to Falmouth from Perth I made it down for my Best Man Duties at Craig and Dani's Wedding. It was a great few days. We ran about for a bit during the week and I picked up Jax from the airport.

The day went very well and although a little nervous for my speech I think that went down well enough.

The Campbell Wedding

Jax and I went down to North Wales on the 29th of September to join Bob Campbell and Allison Collett for their wedding near Llangollen. It was tight but we got there in the end after getting a little lost on the way. We had left Perth at 10am for a 4pm service and yes we did have to get changed in the carpark of the church kayaker style and we ran into the church just before the bride. oops.
The ceremony took place in a cool little Welsh church just outside Ruithin for and the reception was at Trevor Villa just outside Llangollen
It was a fantastic day and evening. We stayed at the White Waters Hotel in Llangollen on the banks of the River Dee.

There were friends all round. Doing the catering, PJ. Doing the photos Jason (from Canoe Kayak Magazine). Doing the music Cheese. It was a real cool get together to celebrate Bob and Ally tying the knot.

Wedding and Quads

Last weekend we were at Tim and Vicky's wedding down in Manchester. It was a great party in the Art Gallery and a great oportunity to not only catch up with Tim and Vicky and enjoy their day but also to see Ben, Bob and Ally who I worked with at Pyranha. This week we also managed to get a day off together and I finally took Jax Quad Trekking. Something she has wanted to do for ages.

A quick call to my mate Ali and we were on. This is a trek site I used to lead Treks on about 10 years ago so it was great to go back up there with views of Loch Tay and Ben Lawyers. Thanks Ali for letting us play on the quads. Check out this link to Ali's website for all the other stuff he does as well as quadding.

Looking out over Loch Tay and Ben Lawyers still has some snow.

Blue Skies and playing on quads. Cool

The streams were not very deep thanks to the nice weather.

The Wedding was in Manchester's Art Gallery. A perfect place for Tim and Vicky. The evening was very well suited to them. Congratulations and they should currently be having fun in Africa. Enjoy.

Tim and Vicky looking great together with their wedding party.

Jax remembering that she was already married thanks to a handy table name tag provided by the bride and groom.

You can keep up to date with what Tim and Vicky are up to here.

Our Wedding

July 15th 2006 saw me and Jax getting married up at the Hermitage. One of my favourite places on the planet. It was an awesome day surrounded by friends and family. Thankyou to everyone who was there and made it a very special day. Thankyou especially to my best man Craig as well as Phil, Ali and Tony for making sure everything ran smoothly.
