Wee blast up to Glenshee today with a friend Kev McHugh (pictured in the collage). It was like spring. +3 degrees and soft spring snow. Awesome day but came back with a bit of a knee injury. Not through a fall, just a long term injury badly managed. :( Ouch.

Paddlin...

Nice wee paddle from Stanley to Perth today in the Pyranha Fusion. Awesome Crossover boat. Enough space for food in it too....
You can surf waves and still enjoy the flat bits.

Snow What

Bit of snow around here over the last week or so. Jax's car got some new socks.

Happy New Year Belated.....

So 2013 here we are. Things have all been a little hectic over the festive period and still are. We have been getting suppliers together for the new shop and the house extension continues and of course the little angels need entertained!

The beginning of Jan is also when I tune into Eurosport for 16 days!!! Dakar. There have been some upsets this year so far. The biggest story I have read was the Race2Recovery Support team were involved in an RTA not even on the stage and put 3 of them in hospital. The Team have decided that they will continue with the two cars that are still in the race.

Sainz is out with engine trouble. Coma never started in the bikes due to an accident in Maroc Rally before the event. Anyway it can be followed here. Pictures below from the Dakar Facebook page.

Had a crazy couple of weeks and feel bad I got so far but did not manage to blog every day this year. Work just got crazy. The company I was working for got into a bit of difficulty. No surprise with the current economic climate and the fact we have had terrible weather. Our business is very weather driven.
Unfortunately the business went into administration and we were potentially out of a job. I got my survival head on and I know the business in Perth is profitable. I managed to get together with another business in the paddlesport world and we hatched a plan to save the shop and staff.
So here we are we opened Go Kayaking Scotland today. I can now enjoy Christmas and get stuck into the new company in the New Year.
