Back to Work

Well here we are into 2007 and back to work. We have been quite quiet in the shop for the last couple of days so I have been planning for 2007. I want to go do some more skiing this winter. Roll on the snow. I am looking forward to summer paddling on the Tummel and more importantly I have to get my truck finished, but I am still thinking of what I want to do next. One of these perhaps?

My truck is almost done. It should be going to paint in the next couple of weeks then MOT and get some miles on it. I want to go on the sorc trip to Shandon this year. So I will need to get it well sorted by then. I have changed my original concept a little to include a real recovery style truck not just an out and out Challenge Truck. Over the last year I have been building my truck Challenge Trucks are getting more extreme and don't look like the original trucks. I don't like this that much and prefer the Defender style with offroad mods. Kind of like the Devon 4x4 truck below. I have purchased alot of my stuff from Devon 4x4. I find them great to deal with and the equipment is top quality.

My truck will not be up to this standard straight away as I don't have £50,000.00 to spend on it. It will have a good few mods on it though.
